Makeup can do magical things, but it doesn’t have to be a mystery. Applying a basic, natural eye look doesn’t require a lot of skill or tools.
A beginner or not, almost every girl who likes to apply makeup on her face makes one or two mistakes that ruin the whole look of the makeup design. In order to eliminate the mistakes, you must learn how and where to apply the different colors, products and shapes of makeup. I will show you one very simple guide that will show you the rules and the secrets for the best lid makeup look. Here we go:
Coloring the eyebrows is something that you must do if you want to stay up-to-date with the makeup trends. But if you want to create the perfect eyebrow shape, you must enhance it by applying highlighter on the brow bone. This will create a pop-out effect of the eyebrow. All you must do is to apply matte or shimmery pale eye shadow or concealer right under the brow, or in other words – on the brow bone.
Usually, it is considered that the lid is the area between the crease and the lash line. There is a bottom lid as well. You must cover this area with the main shadow or eyeliner. Some makeup designs don’t include eye shadows.
The crease must be covered in darker color, it adds dimension to your eye. But if you have hooded lids, then you have to play with the colors and the right spots for these colors until you find the best so the shadows will be visible and the eye would look bigger.
The outer V shape of the eye. That’s the area where you can place a winged detail of the eyeliner, or smoky shape. The V shape can turn into C shape for a smoother look.
The upper lash-line must be enhanced with eyeliner, or simply with a mascara.
The waterline is a very delicate makeup area, because it can make your eye look bigger or smaller according to the color that covers the waterline.
